Hello, sweet Chickadees! How are you? No really, how are you? Sometimes, we get in the habit of always being in "go, go , go" mode that we forget to take a step back and really take into consideration how we are feeling. For some reason, we even feel a little guilty taking care of ourselves, don't we?
Constantly being on the go will eventually catch up to you. It can start to make you feel stretched too thin, over worked, and even underappreciated. I call this the "Burn Out". Unfortunately, I think "Burn Out" happens to all of us. But never fear! There is a solution... Self Care!
Taking time for yourself will help you immensely! Scientific studies show that you are more creative and better at problem solving when you have a clear mind. A simple walk, a 15 minute break, reading a book, catching up with a friend, ect. will actually help you in all aspects of of your life. Believe it or not, you deserve a break!
Even though you feel guilty for giving yourself a little breather, it is so, so necessary. I encourage you to give yourself love, patience, and grace. Treat yourself with kindness. Show yourself some love. You deserve it! And in return, you may find that other aspects of your life will start to fall into place!
